- Wear your sunglasses in any daylight during the first several days - this is the period of time when most of the healing of the cornea takes place.
- You'll be provided with drops for eye discomfort, lubrication and antibiotics. Use these as prescribed
- Do not get any water in your eyes for the first few days, either by swimming or showering.
- No television, computer screens, or excessive reading!
- You will have a follow-up checkup at the American Institute of Ophthamology later in the day, and a second follow-up visit about one week later.

- In the rare occsion that the surgery is less than what is expected, a second surgery is scheduled for "fine-tuning".
