Wear your sunglasses in any daylight during the first several days - this is the period of time when most of the healing of the cornea takes place.   You'll be provided with drops for eye discomfort, lubrication and antibiotics. Use these as prescribed   Do not get any water in your eyes for the first few days, either by swimming or showering.   No television, computer screens, or excessive reading!   You will have a follow-up checkup at the American Institute of Ophthamology later in the day, and a second follow-up visit about one week later.   In the rare occsion that the surgery is less than what is expected, a second surgery is scheduled for "fine-tuning".
